Four police officers have been arrested over the demolition of St. Peters Church in Ndeeba, in Kampala's Rubaga Division.

The church which has been at the centre of a 20-year land wrangle was demolished in the wee hours.

Police say it was not aware there was a court demolition order and the officers who gave a move to go-ahead acted on their own.
