I was in the mood to head back to the Pascack Valley Line this Friday, so I took a trip to the River Edge station. This was my first time filming at this station, and I think it may actually be the first time I've ever stopped here at all. I found that there were a very limited amount of shots I could do at the station, so I walked over to the nearby Riverside Way crossing twice at different points in the day to get some more variety in my shots. During my time here, I was able to see Norfolk Southern H-81 making another run up to Emerson, but even better, I got to see F40PH-2CAT 4119 running in revenue service for the first time in years. It may only be back temporarily to fill in for the missing Cab Cars during the PTC installation process, but I didn't think I would ever see one of NJT's F40s pulling passenger trains ever again.

1: Train 1607 arrives with ALP-45DP 4503 leading the way. Trailing is Cab Car 6071.
2: Norfolk Southern H-81 crosses River Edge Road and passes through the station with GP38-2s 5617 and 5610 pulling a loaded centerbeam car.
3: Cab Car 6710 leads Train 1624 as it crosses Riverside Way. PL42AC 4028 is trailing.
4: Train 1611 crosses Riverside Way with PL42AC 4007 leading the way. Cab Car 6046 is at the end.
5: Norfolk Southern H-81 returns south with GP38-2 5610 on the point, pulling an empty centerbeam car. GP38-2 5617 brings up the rear.
6: Train 1613 pulls in with GP40PH-2B 4202 in charge. Bringing up the rear is F40PH-2CAT 4119, taking the place of a Cab Car.
7: Train 1628 passes through, led by Cab Car 6046. PL42AC 4007 powers the set from the rear.
8: Train 1621 crosses River Edge Road with ALP-45DP 4534 in charge. Trailing is Cab Car 6713.
9: Train 1630 crosses Riverside Way with F40PH-2CAT 4119 on the point. GP40PH-2B 4202 is at the end.
