Congressman Eric Burlison joined Grant Stinchfield on Real America’s Voice to respond to the House vote in which 81 Republicans supported continued funding for the National Endowment for Democracy, despite the president’s effort to defund the organization.

Burlison explained why he supported and spoke in favor of the amendments, criticized what he described as a “play it safe” mentality inside the Republican conference, and warned that holding a majority means little if Congress refuses to act on the priorities voters demanded. He emphasized that Republicans cannot coast into an election, must follow through on the president’s agenda, and risk depressing their own base if they fail to deliver.

Burlison also discussed President Trump’s renewed push for meaningful health care reform and said conservative members are engaging colleagues to make clear that taking no action is worse than taking action.
