Razionラジオン (hyper shooting game) is a shoot'em up for the neo geo aes and mvs developed by NG DEV in 2014.

GAMEPLAY

The game consist of 6 stages .
The score system is based on growing gold cubes and using the beam.
It has 3 game modes (NOVICE/NORMAL/MANIAC).
Novice mode is significantly easier and will allow more people to enjoy the great graphics and music.

TWO CENTS:

Rendered 16-bit CGI graphics is very good. However I didn't like the fact that NG DEV used the same sprites in more than one level (the terminator-like robot for example). Musics and gameplay are good.
Moreover I would have liked that waterfalls would push your ship down like in "pulstar".
Last but not least I didn't like the moe/hentai art style. I miss the old times when shooters were full of aliens and robot like in r-type. I'm my opinion nowdays there is an abuse of moe/hentai characters in shmups.

Having said that the game is excellent for being a indie/doujinshi so it's definitely recommended.

P.S. I'm sorry for the bad quality of the video, unfortunately I had to record it with a camera, moreover my CMVS is connected to an old sony trinitron by means of a composite video cable.
