In this GTO Wizard study session, we’re drilling one of the toughest and most valuable spots in tournament poker — squeezed pots, both as the squeezer and as the caller.

The squeezer usually starts with a clear range advantage, especially on high-card flops, which leads to a lot of c-betting. But these spots aren’t easy — the real challenge is navigating the turns and rivers, where mistakes can become very costly and the biggest EV swings happen.

As the caller, we’re on the other side of that. We’re at a range disadvantage, facing plenty of aggression, and forced to defend selectively and precisely. Understanding when to continue, when to slow down, and when to apply pressure back is what separates solid play from punting EV.

We’ll be working across 20 to 100 big blinds, taking both perspectives — breaking down how ranges shift after a squeeze preflop, how that changes board coverage postflop, and which lines hold up best under pressure.
