Getting stocked isn't as hard as you think, and if your clothing brand's quality and design is on point, expect big and frequent orders for restocks. And expect to get noticed by bigger stores and retailers.

Here are the exact steps you need to take to get in.

1️⃣ Target the right stores. Don't bother reaching out to huge online retailers or big national stores, you won't get in and you'll just be wasting your time. Instead, reach out to your local indie stores as these shops are much more open to trying something new and are on the look for new stock anyways.

2️⃣ Be prepared. Have everything on point before you reach out. Stores will want to see you have solid designs, good quality and a track record of good sales. Don't expect to get in with garbage.

3️⃣ Sell on commission. Don't make the mistake of trying to sell them your clothing in wholesale, you'll get rejected instantly. It's just too mcuh of a risk for the store. instead, work on commission. They'll stock your clothing for free, and only pay you on what they sell. This minimizes their risk.
