[4K] Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad Steam Train

The Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad operates as part of the Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. The CP&LE opened in 1963 and celebrates its 60th anniversary this season. Ride and follow along this theme park mainstay, with some of the world's top roller coasters in sight.

Cedar Point & Lake Erie operates four different steam locomotives, all former industrial tank engines converted to 2-4-0 wheel arrangement. The 22, "Myron H," is the locomotive featured in this video, a 1922-built Vulcan engine first operated for the Wayne Coal Company in Ohio. The engine arrived at CP&LE in 1963, and has been a mainstay of the railroad since the 1990s.
