Gravity and low pressure die casting Technical Solutions - METALFLOW

Описание к видео Gravity and low pressure die casting Technical Solutions - METALFLOW

How does low pressure die casting work? It is a production method that uses pressure rather than gravity to fill molten metals such as aluminum and magnesium into molds. The holding furnace is located below the casting, and the liquid metal is pushed up into the cavity through the riser.

What is gravity die casting? Gravity die casting is a permanent mold casting process in which molten metal is poured into a mold from a container or ladle. Cavities are filled with no forces other than gravity, and filling can be controlled by tilting the mold.
