Preface: This isn’t a particularly positive review. And while I hope the creators aren’t hurt by it, it’s also the job of reviewers to explain why we don’t find something successful. This isn’t a critique of the creators’ value; it’s a critique, mostly, of how it’s been presented to the market. As a creator, my work has been reviewed in public ways that have hurt me. I get it. But that’s also the gig. Ultimately, this is NOT a “gender neutral” deck, not as I read that term, and that impacted my entire experience.
