Rapid Resin Wash Cleaning #1 - 30 Minute First Test Looks Promising

Описание к видео Rapid Resin Wash Cleaning #1 - 30 Minute First Test Looks Promising

Today (Oct 23, 2022) I may have discovered the Holy Grail of quickly and easily removing 3D printing resin from Isopropyl alcohol.

2nd test here (Cold Room):    • IPA Isopropyl resin Wash UV Cleaning ...
3rd Test here (Warmed solution - BEST So Far!):    • Rapid Resin Wash Cleaning #3 - Warmed...

DISCLAIMER: This was ONE test on Gray tough/bendable resin, after rinsing about ten, 3-hour prints. No claims made about other resins, or on really dirty wash solution.*

The key is: Heat from the UV curing makes the liquid rise ONLY in the center, under the flashlight, then it fans-out to the edges, where it cools and sinks... until there is minimal resin in the mix. It didn't cause the whole solution to "gel" like leaving it in the sun can sometimes do.

Still working on the process. It's not quite "set it and forget it" yet, but the method looks very promising.
You still need to let the resin settle for a bit, then filter (decant) it, and cure the goo sediment separately.

A rechargeable UV flashlight makes this more sustainable. Under $20 on Amazon.

A round glass bowl and glass top are next, which should allow me to simply put the flashlight on top and walk away for an hour while it "self-cleans."

* If this method works, and I can walk-away and let it run by itself, my wash will never get really dirty. I significantly cleared-up 2 liters while waiting for a 3-hour print.
