Carolina is a Latina trans activist and sex worker who is currently in Berlin awaiting a decision on her asylum application. After the social outbreak in her homeland Chile a couple of years ago, she decided to leave the country for fear that it would happen to her like many of her fellow activists, who were disappearing and being killed. A tireless advocate for human rights and trans people, Carolina is trying to navigate her way through the complicated German bureaucracy in the midst of the COVI 19 pandemic.

Queer Asylum is the project that The Pink Post brings to Love Lazers TV. Several members of the Queer community and allies will tell us about their experiences in Germany as refugees or asylum seekers, as well as what this form of asylum and protection for the LGBTIQ+ community is based on.

LOVE LAZERS TV FROM BOGOTÁ AND BERLIN was a live transmission with talk and show, music and live entertainment (in English and Spanish/German, partly subtitled). The activist TV station was streaming live from Berlin and Bogotá on two weekends (20th of Feb, 15h live from about blank Berlin + 6th of March 2021, 18h live from Espacio KB Bogotá) on LL's twitch channel (  / lovelazers​  .
