Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Sriperumbudur is a part of Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust. Inaugurated in 1985, the college offers UG and PG programmes in Engineering as well as Technology. All these courses are AICTE-approved and are provided in affiliated with Anna University. It also offers research programmes through 14 departments within the college.

This college, spread in an area of 95 acres, has over 1 lakh books,1,000 journals and 2,200 CDs for educational purpose as per the student’s requirements as well as labs like Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Electrical Lab, Mechanical Lab, etc. It includes a sports complex which has facilities like a badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, football ground as well as tennis and volleyball court. The college has its own in-campus hostels for both boys and girls. While the boys’ hostel has maximum accommodation of 890 seats the girls’ hostel has a capacity of 389.

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering Courses
SVCE offers a total of 30 courses. This includes 11 undergraduate, 10 lateral UG and 9 postgraduate courses under two streams, including Engineering and IT & Software. While UG programmes offered include BE and BTech, PG programmes offered are ME and MTech. While all UG programmes are of four-year duration, lateral entry programmes are three-year-long and PG is of two years.
