Ride for Zarja 2023 an MTB Film in Memory of Zarja Černilogar

In this final episode of MTB Across the Alps for 2023, I head back to Kranj in Slovenia for the annual commemorative #rideforzarja MTB Enduro with takes place every August in memory of Slovenia's multiple Downhill Champion and World Cup star Zarja Černilogar who very sadly passed away in 2016 in a non-bike related accident.

My second time on the event, following my participation in the 2022 ride- link below, and it was great to meet up again with all the Slovenian riders who always make me feel so welcome to join this so worthwhile event.

Special thanks must go to Nejc Černilogar for the invation to join the ride, and Primoz Resman who made sure I survived the very steep and gnarly downhill forest section... the video camera can never capture that gradient!!
