'Sumukdamchaehwa' is a traditional Korean ink painting technique painted through the brightness of ink, called 'Muk.' It is similar to a watercolor painting. But it is drawn with one brush without repeating.

To prepare
signature stamps, a round brush, a flat brush, a plate for ink, thin Korean papers (It can be replaced with other thin paper that spreads well), used waste papers, a pressing stone (something that you can press to keep your paper from moving.), etc.


1. Chrysanthemum flowers from the front to the top left.
There are various kinds of chrysanthemums, such as petals divided into multiple branches, pointed ones, and rolled ones.
I will tell you a simple way to draw chrysanthemum flowers.
Start to draw the leaves around the bud.
Draw the petals one by one as if a flower is blooming.
Think about whether the petals are sharp or divided into several branches and draw one by one.

2. Flower viewed from the side
All of the flowers have different shapes, but the buds have the same form.
The petals viewed from the side have a more varied shape than the flowers viewed from above.
The important thing is that the petals shrinks into flower buds and then bloom outward.
So, the younger petals are facing the flower bud, and the falling petals are hanging outward.
