The Horse and the Rider was the first Tolkien poem I put melody to (November 2008), and one of my personal favorites. I tried to capture the sadness and beauty of the words. It's best to listen to this song with speakers that have good bass capabilities, as the Djembe resonates and creates an atmosphere of it's own. Please excuse the lack of perfection in this home-project. A dream of mine is to one day re-record each song with many new musicians and vocalists in a professional studio. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this collection.
