Tata Motors on Thursday said that it has received a loan worth Rs 584.8 crore and not a grant from the Gujarat government. The development comes after Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP-led government in Gujarat had given a grant of Rs 33,000 crore to the automobile manufacturer for the Nano plant in Sanand near Ahmedabad.
