➤ Hey guys! I felt it was time to dive back into one of my favorite soundtracks of all time! I always find that the Undertale ost brings out the best in not only my playing but a lot of other VGM musicians who strive to nail Toby Fox's insanely complex and layered melodies.

Spider Dance has been one of my favorite boss themes from the game and I've always been messing around with that main melody ever since I first heard the theme while playing the game. It took me a while to get to covering this theme but in a way, I'm glad I got to it now as opposed to earlier because I feel like I'm always improving in my playing and in my production quality. And I'll be honest, this track has always kind of scared me with how crazy it is to play!

I went totally above and beyond with the lead guitars in this track,. The original theme is so shreddy already that I just figured why not make it even MORE crazy just to see if I can keep up! I had a really challenging time learning these melodies but like all great melodies, they make sense and have a vibe to them that makes them easier to play once you get an understanding for how they work. One of my favorite things about making covers overall is just analyzing and learning how brilliant composers like Toby Fox construct their melodies.
