Ganesh Vandana Parivaar is a group of people who dedicated themselves to making Ganesh ji's Murtis using clay sourced from Nature. These Murtis are made as per the forms described in Kaashyap Shilpa Sutra.

Murtikaars of Ganesh Vandana Parivaar comprise students, working professionals, homemakers, retired persons alike, but their passion knows no bound when it comes to sculpting Ganpati Bappa.

The Murtis made by Ganesh Vandana Parivaar are painted using natural mineral based pigments sourced from Nature, i.e. Clay and Stones. These pigments are hand ground and hand pounded and ultimately filtered by cloth. These pigments are mixed with boiled acacia gum and applied onto the Murtis.

The Murtis are not sold as per the contemporary transactional modern economics, but given to the Yajamaans of Ganesh Vandana Parivaar through traditional Jajamaani Artha Vyavastha, wherein the Yajamaans offer organic grains / food products or desi cow ghee or any product made by a traditional artisan. The Yajamaan decides how much to offer. The Murtis are given to the Yajamaans in a grand celebration held on the Sunday prior to Ganesh Chaturthi every year.

The tenth Annual Celebration of Ganesh Vandana Parivaar called कलाधिपति was recently hosted by Centre for Indic Studies, Indus University, Ahmedabad on 23 and 24 August, 2025. Stay tuned to receive the updates of कलाधिपति.
