Lake Kournas and funny turtles

Lake Kournas is a lake on the island of Crete, Greece, near the village of Kournas. The lake used to contain eels but now is better known for its terrapins and tourism. Tavernas and pedalo rental shops line part of the shore.

Озеро Курнас — озеро на острове Крит в Греции, недалеко от деревни Курнас. Раньше в озере обитали угри, но теперь оно более известно своими черепахами и туризмом. Таверны и пункты проката водных велосипедов расположены вдоль берега.

Der Kournas-See ist ein See auf der Insel Kreta, Griechenland, in der Nähe des Dorfes Kournas. Früher gab es im See Aale, heute ist er jedoch vor allem für seine Sumpfschildkröten und den Tourismus bekannt. Einen Teil des Ufers säumen Tavernen und Tretbootverleihe.
