Building Skills & Changing Lives: Inside the SCSEP Program

Everyone deserves the chance to grow, contribute, and shine—at any stage of life. Through Easterseals-Goodwill’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), low income adults over 55, receive paid, real-world training that helps them re-enter the workforce and build confidence along the way.

In this video, we feature Freddy and Mary, two remarkable participants training at our Boise Northgate Goodwill store. With support from SCSEP staff and community partners, they are developing new skills, finding purpose, and taking meaningful steps toward greater independence. Their stories remind us of the power of opportunity and the importance of believing in one another.
