A run-through of a level from Kill Them All IV (http://simplici7y.com/items/kill-them...) using the BRUTAL MARATHON plugin (available at http://lochnits.com/marathon/plugins/) and rendered at 60 fps.

BRUTAL MARATHON (it must always be written in all caps, per tradition) requires at least Aleph One 1.4pre1 (available from https://github.com/Aleph-One-Marathon.... It adds a hilarious amount of extra gore to the game (the amount is controllable in preferences; I of course used the maximum), but makes no other changes to gameplay.

Currently, the 60 fps build of Aleph One is not public, though you can compile it from source yourself (I will not be able to provide any assistance with this, sorry). I believe treellama is hoping to release Aleph One 1.4 on 2021-04-01.

Kill Them All is a collection of maps with no more than 100 polygons per level, where the goal of the map is to, erm, kill them all. There were a number of contributors to the project; RyokoTK (creator of Phoenix and more than a hundred net maps) is the project director. Shadowbreaker created this specific level. There have been four iterations so far (hence the “IV” in “Kill Them All IV”); a fifth is currently underway, although the limit for new maps is being raised to 200 polygons this time. For mapmakers, the project is an exercise in discipline (it’s not easy to make decent-looking maps without using a lot of polygons), and for players, it’s a test of gameplay skill.

The first four iterations of Kill Them All are also meant to be played with the Previous AI plugin (http://simplici7y.com/items/aleph-one..., which is enabled for this video.
