427. The next leg of our journey has many 'Arms' - Ashby Cruise Part Four

Sally and I finish our descent through Hillmorton Locks, stop for water, and cruise on to Rugby where we stay overnight. We wake to a sunny morning, carry on past a number of canal 'arms' and pass through Newbold Tunnel, making good progress towards a favoured mooring spot.

This is a cruise to, and along the 22 miles long Ashby Canal, via the Grand Union Canal, North Oxford and Coventry Canals, passing through Watford Locks, Braunston Tunnel, Braunston and Hillmorton Locks.
