P2 Pentalobe Screwdriver (0.8mm)
Heat Gun / Hair Dryer / iOpener (to loosen adhesive)
Suction Cup & Plastic Pry Tools
Isopropyl Alcohol (90% or higher) for cleaning corrosion
Soft Brush / Anti-static Brush
Microfiber Cloth
📌 Steps Covered:
Power OFF the iPhone immediately (never charge a wet phone).
Remove the pentalobe screws near the charging port.
Heat the back glass edges to soften adhesive.
Carefully lift the back glass with suction & pry tools.
Disconnect the battery before cleaning.
Use isopropyl alcohol & brush to clean water residue and corrosion.
Dry thoroughly before reassembly.
Reseal with new adhesive or back glass if needed.
