What's in My First Aid Kit? What to Carry With You on Trail.

A first aid kit is hopefully the piece of hiking gear that you will never need. Do you carry a first aid kit when you hike? I always have a first aid kit with us. I have one at home, in the car and we take on with us when we go to hunting camp or when we go hiking. Today, I’m going over what I’m going to be carrying in my first aid kit for my hiking pack. I’m going to be doing some longer hikes this summer and I decided to build a kit that would have everything that I might need. When you are on trail, its very important to be able to doctor yourself if need be and if you are going to be out in the wilderness, sometimes you need to carry a bit more to make sure that you can take care of yourself until you can get somewhere to receive care.
