This video shows getting the bullock team moving out of the yard into the bush and getting into position to chain onto the log. You'll see the steel log shoe which is used in Tasmania. On the mainland, a 2 wheeled log jinker is usually used.
The video also highlights 'stand up' (getting the team ready to pull) 'whooping back', 'gee' (right turn), 'come here' (left turn), 'whoa' and 'steady'.
The team comprises of:
Robin and Ranger (near side and offside leaders)
Tiger and Tom
Digger and Dodger
Lofty and Lively.
