"For those familiar with the traditional route to becoming a professional Supercross and motocross athlete, you are familiar with the same old narrative. Drop out of school, chase the amateur circuit, win the biggest amateur national in the world, Loretta Lynn's, get a factory ride, make money (hopefully), avoid injury, and retire. While that seems to be the norm in this sport, factory Honda's, Cole Seely, didn't quite follow that path.\n\nSeely grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA. His parents worked to raise their family (Cole and Chance) and also chase the amateur motocross circuit in pursuit of the aforementioned dream. However, unlike most, Cole's path took a sudden turn when we was 16-years-old. Typically, his decision at 16 would've meant the end of 99.9% of those pursing the professional motocross dream, however, Cole is that 1% that didn't exactly follow the norm. Now, he rides for the most prestigious team in the sport, factory Honda Racing. \n\nFrom high school, work, to college, along with an almost professional Freestyle Motocross career, Cole opens up about his unique journey to the professional ranks.
