In This Episode of American Piddler, we take an old rusty garage sale find... A Antique Hand Crank Grinder and restore it! We take all the old rust and Paint off with sanding, wire wheels, and scotch bright pads! we then use some Berryman Chem-Dip Carburetor & Parts Cleaner and let all the nuts and bolts and small parts soak over night! That stuff really does a great job if you don't have a parts washer handy! After some more wire wheel cleaning we then use acetone to prep our surfaces for Paint! Then After a few coats of paint I apply the final coat of paint & then use a clear coat of flat gloss to finish the paint and finish off! I then apply the American Piddler sticker as a finishing touch! I did not find any kind of makers mark on this grinder so that's why it got the American Piddler Mark!
