Railfanning Durand Railroad Days 5-18-2024 FT KCS, Citrail and more!

Please note I am way behind on my videos. I have been busy as life caught up to me. I got an Illinois trip to pump out I took earlier in the month. I just decided to do this video first and just get it done. Anyway here is the rundown. On Saturday, I went to the annual Durand Railroad Days to hang with freinds and catch some trains. It turned out to be a good day trackside with a couple cool trains with some interesting power. CN was also having issues in near Chicago IL so trains like Z148, Q122, Q116, X396, and other trains got held up. After leaving the area at dusk, I hung out with some friends back home and as I was returning to my house I heard a massive loud K5LA. Knowing that the CSX new rebuilt Macs boast that horn I rushed down to a crossing and got it. It was the night runner B523 with CSX 4740 leading a rebuilt flared SD70MAC. I hope you enjoy the video! What I loved about this video as how a good chunk of trains were in awesome light!!!
