✅ Steps to Hide or Replace Zeros in Excel
1. Hide All Zeros in the Entire Worksheet
Click the File tab.
Choose Options from the left menu.
In the window that opens, select Advanced.
Scroll to the section called Display options for this worksheet.
Find the setting that says Show a zero in cells that have zero value.
Uncheck that box.
Click OK.
✔ All zeros in the entire sheet disappear instantly.

2. Replace Zeros with Dashes Using Custom Format
Select the cells or columns where you want zeros to appear as dashes.
Right-click the selection and choose Format Cells
(or use the shortcut Ctrl + 1).
Go to the Number tab.
Select Custom from the list on the left.
Delete the existing text in the Type box and enter this format code:
0;-0;–
Click OK.
✔ Every zero is replaced visually with a dash.

3. Want to Undo the Dash Formatting?
Open Format Cells again.
Change the category back to General or Number.
✔ Zeros return to normal.
