So excited to share another episode of decoded with you guys! Please let me know what you think. I love this product and wanted to dig deep into the ingredients and was actually surprised how many synthetic ingredients there are (14/24 not including the pigments) I really hope you guys enjoy!

Talc: Mineral. Commonly used. Has been known to be linked to cancer, due to past history of it containing asbestos. Some people have allergies.
Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate: Anti- Caking Agent. aluminum salt of chemically modified starch
Dimethicone: Silicone based polymer. Gives a silky feel
Magnesium Stearate: Salt can come from animals or plants
Ethylhexyl Palmitate: Skin Conditioning Agent and Fragrance Ingredient. Synthetically derived from Palm Oil
Nylon-12: Synthetic polymer, skin can't absorb polymers, found in clothes so small skin irritant
Trimethylsiloxysilicate: It helps hold pigments in place while providing water-resistance in skin care and color cosmetic applications. Silicone based polymer
Boron Nitride: Synthetic
Caprylyl Glycol: Preservative. Can be plant-derived or synthetic. If not specified most likely synthetic
Polyethylene: Derivative of petroleum
Caprylhydroxamic Acid: Amino Acid derived from Coconuts. Anti-fungal agent/ preservative
Glycerin: Humectant that attracts moisture to the skin. Can be from vegetables or synthetically made. Helps to stick to the skin
Silica Dimethyl Silylate: Synthetically derived from Silica. Used as anti-caking agent: put into powders to help remove clumps.
Methicone: Silicone based polymer. Conditioning Agent
Black 2/CI 77266, Carmine/CI 75470, Ferric Ferrocyanide/CI 77510, Iron Oxides/CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, Manganese Violet/CI 77742, Mica (shimmer), Titanium Dioxide/CI 77891, Ultramarines/CI 77007] : Iron Oxides
9/14 Synthetic Ingredients. Given the benefit of the doubt that the other ingredients could be natural. I highly doubt they are. To be honest in my opinion the more accurate number I would give it would be 11/14 because I think the best ingredients are caprylhydram acid, glycerin, and caprylyl glycol. Highlight ANTI-CAKING AGENT.
