The Hound is a really great frigate for hunting Ventures if you equip it with small torpedos and don't follow it's bonus's to mediums.

The basics of this ship are to cloaked up, locate a Venture in a belt, sneak up to within 4km of it, then uncloak, lock, warp disrupt, fire small torpedos, pop ballistic control and pop stealth bomber damage booster to nuke them down incredibly fast.

You can buy the the full hound fitting for around 120million isk, but it should be super low risk and you'll likely have a few days of fun with it before selling it on again.

Remember you're in a frigate and if you're shooting players in asteroid belts sogate and station guns will shoot you in low sec as long as you have a criminal timer. So when your finished or want to move to a new system, go stealth up at a planet until it's over.
