I spent 6 days climbing to one of the oldest and least accessible mountains on earth.
Surrounded by vertical cliffs reaching over 400m tall, it’s a place isolated for millions of years, evolving free from human influence. It’s out-worldly landscapes and inexplicable plants left me asking the question, “how much of this world do we truly understand?”

My Story:
I booked a one way ticket to Central America to see what I was really made of. 10 months and 8 countries later I found myself in South America, contemplating if I should visit Venezuela. People had told me not to visit, they told me it was too dangerous, but is it fair to sum up a whole country with one word, "dangerous." I went to go see with my own eyes and what I saw surprised me.

I travel alone with a 360 camera so I can bring you along and feel like you were there with me. Move your phone around and look at what peaks your interest as I discover this country few dare to visit.

As a storyteller, I feel that virtual reality and 360 videos has the potential to change how we watch documentaries since we can now experience the story instead of simply watching it. My focus as a filmmaker is to push the boundaries of VR through this series as I revisit my 16 month, solo backpacking adventure through Central and South America.
