Yinzheng Zhong, PhD student, University of Liverpool, talks about the Process Mining Algorithm for Online Intrusion Detection System as part of the TMPA-2021 conference.

Yinzheng and his co-authors' study analyses how process mining can be applied to intrusion detection systems (IDS) and proposes a unique algorithm for preprocessing data to generate a behaviour model. The researchers introduce CSE-CIC-IDS2018 datasets to evaluate the approach, and they report on experiments using a variety of machine learning (ML) models as classifiers to prove the effectiveness of the algorithm.
