This poem was written and recorded by Del Ray Cross (that's me!). As of this posting, It is one of nearly 4,000 poems in an ongoing project I call 'ANACHRONIZMS,' which I began writing in 2002. You can read all of them on a blog that I began in July of 2005 (at anachronizms.blogspot.com). Ever since then, I have continued to build upon this project and write and post original poems of mine to the blog nearly every day, and each of these have been presented atop an original photograph since late 2011. Most of the photographs were taken by me, but some are family heirlooms that I have collected over the years.

This poem was originally posted onto the ANACHRONIZMS blog on October 30, 2014 and was recorded for this YouTube playlist on May 19, 2023.

This YouTube playlist, which I began to record and compile a couple of years ago, now acts as a companion to the ANACHRONIZMS project. My plan is to inevitably include individual recordings of all of the poems in this project into this YouTube playlist.
