Gullfoss, also known as the "Golden Falls," is a majestic waterfall located in southwest Iceland along the popular Golden Circle route. The Hvítá River, fed by glacial runoff from the Langjökull glacier, plunges in two stages over a 32-meter (105-foot) drop into a narrow, 2.5-kilometer (1.6-mile) long canyon. The awe-inspiring sight and power of Gullfoss make it one of Iceland's most popular tourist destinations. eysir is Iceland's famous geyser located along the Golden Circle in the Haukadalur Valley. In recent years, the Great Geysir has stopped erupting. Luckily, the neighboring Strokkur geyser continues puts on a magical show every 4-10 minutes.
