As more and more investor are concerned with climate change and environmental issues, these days when company takes a loan, investors and financial institutions assess the impact they have on the environment.

This has made difficult for the company who are not involved in the green project to get into the ESG Market and that’s where SLB comes and is different from green project as they raise money specifically for green project.

They are new innovation in finance market. These loan work by aligning the loan term with the borrower performance against ESG score provided by external provider, key performance indicators that track borrower performance against their sustainability profile.
