“Coiling” is for every black girl and boy who’s been dehumanized, mocked, overmasculinized, ridiculed, and stereotyped by the system because of our hair. This is for the amplification of the Crown Act. This for every coil that lives on our head. This is for every black women and man unborn and passed. Our hair is beautiful and a huge aspect of our identity. We hope that “Coiling” is a call for us to reclaim our ancestry and step into that beauty. Hope you enjoy lolzzzz!
