With the Alvarez MD60BG you get a beautiful acoustic guitar constructed from Solid AA Sitka Spruce, with a Solid African Mahogany back and sides, finished in a thin Gloss coating. You'd be forgiven for thinking these high-specced guitars would cost a small fortune, but they represent some of the best quality instruments available in their price range.

Every care has been taken to ensure that the Alvarez MD60BG is of a fantastic quality. Each of the tone woods are carefully cured, each component carefully designed, and even the paint used in the finish was carefully selected to bring you a guitar that's both stylish and toneful.

Additionally, Alvarez have opted for their Forward Shifted X-Bracing pattern (FST2), which grants the Solid AA Sitka Spruce top plenty more natural resonance. This results in sound projection that's second to none, with plenty of crisp bass frequencies, making this guitar absolutely perfect for live performances, as well as studio work.

When pairing a solid Spruce top with solid Mahogany back and sides, the tonal outcome is exquisite. Whilst the Spruce provides the guitar with a bright and well-projected voice, the Mahogany produces a tone that's both vibrant and rich in harmonic overtones, making the guitar suitable for a wide range of musical genres, from folk to country and beyond.
