The distinctiveness of Ikat sarees lies in the transfer of intricate designs and colours onto warp and weft threads first and then weave them together. Bold choice of colours is one of the unique feature in the Ikat weaving process.

These are double Ikat woven sarees where the weft and warp are woven in Ikat style with attached blouse. These are purely handwoven sarees where the weaving process is very complicated thereby requires skilled weavers to produce detailed ikat pattern. These sarees are light weight and easy to carry.
