Tropical Depression Ofel (PAGASA) continues to track over towards the Philippines today. This storms threat is not so much the winds but the heavy rains that may accompany it as it tracks over land. Flooding and landslides will be high at risk especially in low lying areas and along steep terrain in the region. Expect rough conditions through the end of the week as well through Manila as the storm pushes in to the south china sea.
