Welcome to Block Island — one of my favorite lighthouse experiences so far. Located about 12 miles off the coast of Rhode Island, Block Island is known for its dramatic bluffs, beautiful beaches, and charming seaside towns.

• North Lighthouse — a remote, scenic walk at the island’s northern tip
• Southeast Lighthouse — featuring a rare first-order Fresnel lens and breathtaking cliffside views

I share how to get to Block Island by ferry, ways to get around the island, and what it’s like to visit both lighthouses in one trip — including a guided tower climb and stops at places like the Mohegan Bluffs.
