This time, we drove over 7 hours all the way to Dan Sai in Northeast Thailand —
for one of the WILDEST festivals we’ve ever experienced: Phi Ta Khon – The Ghost Festival!

It’s not just a festival — it’s a full-on cultural carnival blending Buddhist traditions, spirit worship, and wild creativity. It turns the entire town into one giant party full of mystery and madness!

Here’s what you’ll experience with us:

👻 The iconic ghost parade!
Locals wearing hand-crafted ghost masks, dancing through the streets with funky moves — even kids join in! The energy? Absolutely contagious.

😎 I joined the madness too!
I couldn’t resist renting a full costume. That’s when I realized... the ghosts weren’t ignoring me — they literally couldn’t see! These masks have TINY eye holes! Wearing it felt like diving into “anonymous chaos mode.”

🌃 Night views, fireworks & the glowing red temple
The official stage was a bit too formal for us... so we ditched it and explored the red temple instead — BEST decision ever! The night lights + fireworks made it magical.

🍢 Local eats & market life
From snacks to handcrafts, the streets were packed with vendors. You can truly feel the spirit of the community.
