Sup everybody,

With the recent release of Gears of War on Playstation 5, I've decided to dive into an Epic game that I've had in my library for a while now. Shadow Complex Remastered is that game. Its a metroidvania with heavy emphasis on action and it turned out pretty fun.

Here's the synopsis:

"The protagonist is Jason Fleming, a hiker, who, along with his girlfriend Claire, stumbles upon a rogue paramilitary organization called The Restoration.

Claire gets abducted during what begins as a casual exploration, leading Jason into a massive, covert underground complex run by the group.

Jason uncovers that The Restoration has designs rooted in political conspiracy: their actions threaten to destabilize the U.S. government, possibly ignite civil unrest or civil war.

As he explores further, Jason acquires high‑tech gear and abilities the paramilitary group developed, which he uses both for survival and to combat their forces. Over time, he becomes a more capable, almost super‑powered asset in stopping their plans."
