Mustang Sequential LED Taillight Kit 1996-2004 Installation

This sequential turn signal kit is unique because your brake lights will still work properly. The taillights will only sequence when the turn signal or emergency flasher is activated, but the brake lights come on when braking.

The kit comes with everything needed for installation, and there's no need to change harnesses or cut wires. First, you want to remove your plastic trim panel and the panel that covers the taillights. Pull the taillight out and remove the outer most plug-in socket's bulb. Plug in the new bulb and install it back into the housing. Repeat this process with all other sockets and then plug the harness into the middle light socket.

To install the new flasher, unplug the original and plug in the new one from the kit. At this point, you'll want to check your lights to make sure all are working properly. Reassemble the taillights and the trunk panel, and installation is complete. Total installation should take no more than 30 minutes and you'll be back on the road in no time with your 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 or 2004 Mustang.
