2011 Volvo XC60 popped up fault codes ”Headlamp Failure” and „Active Chassis Warning”. Because I do not have VIDA diagnostic tool yet, I went with easy way and started to locating chassis leveling sensors to be able to evaluate are their overall situation Ok. Before I move on to local shop to read the fault codes I wanted to exclude the possibilities, that some linkages between the sensors and axles could be broken. I was able to locate all four sensors and they seemed relatively healthy. All linkages were on spot without bends or other visible errors.
As I was locating the sensors I went extra step, disconnected all of them and cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner. Also I added some penetration oil to the nuts and bolts to make preparations for replacing the broken one, after I can diagnosed which one to replace. For the current result, faults codes are still present.
