STORY TIME: The Time I Dated A White Man | with receipts

This is a story time about the time I dated a white man. This is not something all white males do, I am very aware that. This is just the experience that I had with a white male that changed my opinions and dating preferences. This is a very true story that happened around 2016. I was still in college very young, dumb and unexperienced. This was a big learning experience for me. would I recommend this experience to any one? No but that is my preference and it is based off my experience. He said the N word. He manipulated & gaslit me and was extremely over bearing. It took a toll that transferred into relationships in my future... until I worked on myself to get passed those issues. that was the end of our relationship. He said it to me in messages as well.

That is unacceptable for any other race to say. It was a word use to bring black people down for so long that we took it back and made it our own to acknowledge each other and create community, joke around and use it to express ourselves within our communities. Not for other communities to come and use it just to feel cool and accepted when its offensive coming from you because you are not apart of that culture or community.

Committing harmful actions against yourself should never be used to threaten someone if they are trying to leave or to force them to stay. Saying that this would be their fault is not okay to ever say to any one. And if someone tries to manipulate you in this way, tell some one, get far away and know that it would not be your fault.
