The 2021 Nungua Kpelejoo festival begun with the filling of the sacred Dudɔ with water. The Homowo festival begins with Nungua and other Ga-Dangme communities such as Ga-Mashie, Osu, La, Teshie, Tema, Prampram, Ningo continues.
