In this video shot at 42 Gear Street, I sit with with Mike from CGS to check out two brand new, high end Ibanez acoustics made in China. Chinese guitars have a stigma about them being cheap and unreliable, but Ibanez are putting that idea to the test and showing everyone why they're wrong.

The guitars are the AE410 and the PA300E. The AE410 is their new high end model which comes in at around £1700 in the UK and is made with some high end, solid woods such as a Sitka Spruce top and a Macassan Ebony fretboard.

The PA300E is a production model of a guitar designed with Jon Gomm which is perfect for fingerstyle and percussive players. This guitar sits just under £1000 retail, although we did inaccurately say it cost more in the video (Based on information we were given on the day). This guitar also has a wider fretboard to allow extra string spacing for fingerstyle.
