Christine Brown shared on Instagram two sketches she made while waiting at the hospital with her daughter Truely during her battle with kidney failure ten years ago. The first sketch depicted Truely in the hospital, hooked up to dialysis tubes and lying in bed, while the second one showed her daughter smiling and preparing for her dream vacation to Disneyland in Las Vegas. Christine credited the drawings as a significant turning point in Truely's health, as she started to improve from then on.

It was actually in 2012 when Truely suffered from kidney failure and was hospitalized for 11 days. In 2014, Truely was hospitalized again, this time due to pneumonia, and it was during this time that Kody revealed his feelings about Christine's resentment towards him. However, the Brown family has since then obtained health insurance, and Kody has been working to provide for his family.
