5:03 Potentiometer use

#define name value - It is used for defining variables, which doesn't take program space. It only replaces all the variable name used in the code with the value specified. We can not change it's value in realtime.

pulseIn(pin number, HIGH/LOW, timeout(optional)) - It is used for reading the pulse on the specified pin number. If HIGH is specified, then pulseIn() checks if pin comes from LOW to HIGH, then turn on timer and again waits for pin to go LOW, and stops timer, and returns it in microseconds, and 0, if not any pulse is found, if the timeout doesn't occured.
By default timeout is 1 second, if we want to change it, just specify the time in microseconds.

map(value, lower range of value, higher range of value, lower range of value you want, higher range of value you want) - It is used for mapping one value from its range to custom range.

constrain(value, lower range, higher range) - It is used to constrain value within the specified range. If value is within the range, then it returns the value. If value is less than lower range, then it returns the lower range specified. If value is higher than the higher range, then it gives the higher range.
